Bobtown is a small unincorporated community located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated along Pennsylvania Route 21, about 10 miles east of Waynesburg, the county seat of Greene County. The community is part of the Dunkard Creek watershed and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The population of Bobtown is approximately 700 people. The community was named after Robert McDonald, a pioneer settler who built a log cabin in the area in the early 1800s. There are several businesses in Bobtown, including a gas station, grocery store, and post office. The town is also home to the Bobtown Elementary School, which serves students in grades K-5.
